Winning: What’s it Take? – CONSISTENCY!

“The soft drops of rain pierce the hard Marble, many strokes overthrow the tallest oak.”

— John Lyly, Writer & Poet

Too many people underestimate the power of Consistency.   They get started on a diet, a workout program, or even a business — put a lot of energy into the beginning — and totally fall off a day or two, a week or two, a month or two later.   And it kills ’em.

Especially in building your network marketing business.   You’re most fired up at the start.   And those early calls to your friends, family, associates — those early seeds sown — are the beginning of your momentum.    Sometimes it doesn’t catch fire quickly.  But you’re still sowing seeds.   And what the top earners know is this — if you stay with it, you’ll reap the harvest that consistency brings.

Every time you quit your business … every time you “put it on hold”, “take a break”, or say, “I’ll just pick it up again next month”… you give it all back.  All of the momentum that you were building up towards.   All of the seeds that were just getting ready to pop.   You give it all back and put yourself on zero again.

And that’s so frustrating to people.   Starting over is like surgery without anesthesia.   It takes so much more effort than staying with it.   It would be so much better to just stay with it and do a little bit each day, than to put it down and do nothing at all for a season.

Remember, ‘the race does not belong to the swift — but to the one that endures to the end’.

So Consistency is the key.   How do you get consistent?

  1. Make a Decision — And commit to the outcome.
  2. Keep Your Eye on the Prize!  — It’ll will keep you moving forward.
  3. Have a Plan — Get with your coach to plan — even schedule — your activities.
  4. Remember the Pain — Don’t forget how painful starting over from zero is.  Then you won’t put yourself through that.

After all, much water wears the marble.    Drip water on the same spot of the same marble stone day after day, year after year, and it WILL wear a hole in the stone.  Why? Consistent pressure.

Sow seeds in your business day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, and you WILL realize your dreams!
